William Comyns was the best known and most famous of suppliers of silver piquet work in London at the end of the 19th century. He made this style of dome topped carriage clock his own almost every one seen is made bt this maker. Excellent tortoiseshell and the finest silverwork. 8 day movement using a lever platform escapement and having integral key. Clear white enamel dial with blued steel hands.5.75 inches high by 3 inches by 3 inches ( 14 cms by 7.5 cms by 7.5 cms)
