A superb quality viennese enamel ewer of very heavy guage. Constructed of silver and silver gilt and finely painted enamel. The ewer is made up of 11 bands of enamel seperated by bands of silver gilt. The enamel is finely painted and includes classical figural scenes and neo-classical designs. The enamel continues inside the spout and also under the foot. Circa 1880. 5.25 inches high by 3 inches wide ( 13 cms by 7.5 cms)
