A most attractive small dome topped scarlet tortoiseshell and gilt bronze mantel clock. The clock has a fine white enamel dial which has been hand painted around the outer edge with wreaths of flowers. The hands are of giltbronze. The clock has gilt bronze mounts and the edges of the clock are strung in brass and it has an attractive carrying handle. 8 day bell striking movement with lever escapement. Circa 1900. 8 inches tall ( 20 cms).
