A fine and very pretty jewelled enamel French ecrier. The oval dish with turquoise enamel and fully jewelled has an ormolu pen holder to the centre and an inkwell to the rear. The enamel is set into gilt bronze. In excellent original condition. Circa 1880. 5.75 inches wide by 4.75 inches deep by 3.5 inches high ( 14.37 cms by 12 cms by 8.75 cms).
