A superb pair of English Regency blackamoor urns. Set on two piece paw feet with square bases, the blackamoors stand on naturalistic domed bases. The blackamoor figures in uopen shirts and breeches are parcel gilt and patinated bronze. The faces of the blackamoors are superbly modelled. On the head of each blackamoor is a reeded urn which he holds steady with his hands. Original gilding but with some wear. Superb quality and very rare. England circa 1825. 9.5 inches high by 5.75 inches square at base ( 23.75 cms by 14.375 cms).
