A really beautiful TRUE pair of naïve English Regency patinated bronze greyhound candlesticks. Set upon a rectanfular base with four stubby feet the greyhounds both face to the front with their paws crossed. The foliate arm carrying the candle sconce begins behind each greyhound and ends at the other end. Each candle sconce is beautifully finished with knurling. They are weighted in the base with cast iron to keep them stable when they are in use with lighted candles. 10 inches high, the base 5.125 inches wide by 3.125 inches deep ( 25 cms by 12.8 cms by 7.7 cms).
