A LATE VICTORIAN NOVELTY MANTEL CLOCK, modelled in the form of a coal scuttle, with a looped carrying handle, hinged lid, with an overall hammered effect, raised on four compressed ball feet, the white enamel dial surrounded by a rope twist border, makers mark of D.C. Co., Birmingham 1898, height 2.5" (6.25 cms).
