A magnificent English Edwardian silver gilt and guilloche enamel oval box. The lid decorated in enamel radiating from the central point and within an oval bordered by a concentric rim of silver gilt and white enamel. A second outer concentric circle of enamel and silver gilt is decorated with "bubbles" of enamel. The sides to both the top and lower half of box are decorated with wave effect guilloche enamel. The base of the box follows the same pattern as the lid but without enamel. The box is marked for London 1911. The silver gilt within the box is virtually mint. 4 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep and 0.8125 inches high ( 10 cms by 6.875 cms by 2.03 cms ).
