Antique pair candlesticks, English Regency period of two deer.
Pair of English Regency patinated bronze candlesticks. One candlestick has a stag resting upon a naturalistic base while the other has a doe. The base is rectangular and from behind each deer a tree rises which have squirrels eating nuts on their boughs. The tree holds the single candleholder which is decorated with knurling in four concentric circles. England circa 1820. 5.25 inches high by 3 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep ( 13 cms by 7.5 cms by 5.6 cms)
