Art Deco figure in bronze and ivory, cold painted, signed Lorenzl of a dancer
A very good Art Deco period silvered bronze and ivory figure of a young girl dancing or running by the iconic sculptor Josef Lorenzl. Her head is carved from ivory and she has a very pretty face and has been very well carved indeed. She stands upon a classically Art Deco shaped base made of both Brazilian green onyx and black marble. The sculpture is in superb original condition and has not been over restored and touched up to give an appearance of so called "pristine" condition. Signed in the bronze "Lorenzl". Austrian circa 1925. 8.5 inches high by 2.5 inches 2.25 inches base ( 21.25 inches high by 6.25 cms by 5.625 cms base).
