A fine quality patinated bronze and ormolu inkwell with a well modelled figure of cupid lying on a fringed drape to the top of the lid. The base has well executed and decorated mouldings and a beautiful rich brown patination. Beneath the lid are two inkwells and a sander. France. Circa 1820.
