A most unusually shaped miniature clock in lilac guilloche enamel with white enamel lines in silver and gilt bronze.
Exquisite oval shape with lilac guilloche enamel base with white enamel edging between silver tracks. The dial of white porcelain with Roman numerals, gilt minute marks and blued steel hands within a gilt bezel and signed Swiss. This is set in a field or panel of lilac guilloche enamel over engine turning within white enamel lines and silver tracks. Two similar fields are to each side and extend to the back of the clock. The top of the clock is superb lilac guilloche enamel over several engine turned patterns. There is an adjuster to the rear of the clock and the watch movement is wound and set from below. The gilt bronze base is signed Nisell, Wien 1, Karntnerstr26 who was probably the retailer.
