Antique French mantel clock in ormolu and porcelain. With ormolu terms to the sides as colums and a full jewelled porcelain panel below the dial painted with a mother and child in a rustic scene. The dial of painted and jewelled blue celeste porcelain with gilt hands. The clock is surmounted by a blue celeste urn and topped of with a pineapple finial. The movement is of 8 day duration and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. It is stamped on the backplate Japy Freres. French circa 1870. 14 inches ( 35 cms).
