A beautiful and rare boulle centrepiece with an ormolu pot and cover to the centre with a hawk as the finial to the pot. The outer edge of the centrepiece decorated in ormolu. The piece then has two concentric circles of floral decoration making use of mother-of-pearl, brass and pewter laid in scarlet tortoiseshell. Height 7 inches and diameter 16 inches ( 17 cms by 40 cms). French circa 1860.
