An attractive and decorative pair of gilt bronze candlesticks in the early 18th century baroque style. The circular bases highly decorated with deep patterns and swags of acanthus. The stem of each candlestick is made up by three female "Terms" dressed and decorated in the Greek style. The candle nozzles in the form of urns. French 19th century. 12 inches high by 5.5 inches diameter ( 30 cms by 14 cms).
