A Victorian tortoiseshell veneered table cabinet with gilt bronze carrying handles and drawer pulls. Veneered on all sides including the top and back. Two large front doors open to reveal three tortoiseshell veneered drawers on the left hand side and letter compartments on the right, also tortoiseshell veneered. The inside of the cabinet is in mahogany. The two front doors lock with a key. Superb condition. English circa 1890. 12 inches high by 12 inches wide by 8 inches deep (30 cms by 30 cms by 20 cms).
