A very attractive pair of antique French gilt bronze and marble lidded tazzas. Of very smart and elegant proportions the tazzas stand upon circular marble bases. The stems are entwined with flowers and vine leaves spreading to a wide and shallow cup with finely cast serpent handles to each side. The broad lids with gadrooning and petal patterns are surmounted with bud finials. French circa 1890. 8.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches high by 5 inch diameter base ( 21.25 cm by 21.25 cms by 12.5 cms).
