A late 18th century octaginal tented tea caddy with veneered ivory panels and tortoiseshell stringing and applied silver mounts. The lid and inner cover having alternatively stained panels. The front of the caddy with an oval blue and gilt medallian depicting a putto. English circa 1780 Height 5 inches high by 4 inches by 3 inches ( 12 cms by 10 cms by 7.5 cms).
