A magnificent antique bronze two handled covered urn. The octaginal base rising to a fluted collet foot supporting the egg shaped body with acanthus leaf decoration below two goat's masks and garlands of fruiting vines. The masks supporting the two handles rising to the cover with an artichoke finial. English circa 1840. Height 22 inches ( 55 cms).
