A good Italian Grand Tour bronze model of the Dancing Faun after the antique. Probably produced in Naples this piece is very finely cast and finished with excellent detail and good colour. Italian and dating from the second half of the 19th century this is one of the many pieces that would have been selected by wealthy travellers on their world tour. 6.5 inches tall ( 16.5 cms).
