An unusual antique French ormolu mounted Vernis Martin mantel clock in the form of a longcase clock. Very attractive painting and in very good original condition with the odd mark here and there. The ivorine dial with blued steel hands. 8 day timepiece movement, regulated by a platform lever escapement. Circa 1895. 18 inches high 6.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep ( 45 cms by 17.25 cms by 10 cms).
