Pink guilloche enamel and worked and engine turned Asprey's silver gilt necessaire.
This superb box with outstanding silver work and perfect enamel is signed and silver hallmarked in 1929 for Asprey's the famous London jeweller.
The original white satin interior is intact and fully signed for Asprey and contains scissors, bodkin, thimble and needle case all in hallmarked silver. The bottom of the case and the sides are all engine turned and the silver gilt in excellent condition.
The box has a fine hinge and the lid is beautifully decorated with a wavy line pattern to the outside edge with a line of pink guilloche enamel within and the main oval pattern of guilloche enamel within superb floral silverwork in the spandrel corners.
