Good pair of early English Regency or George III figural candlesticks. Constructed of fine original ormolu, patinated bronze and carrera marble. Set upon a square marble base with an ormolu socle holding a column of marble on which the opposing winged putti stand on one leg upon a stylised ormolu cloud holding the finely worked ormolu candle sconces. English circa 1800-1810. 11 inches high by 3 inches square at base ( 27.5 cms by 7.5 cms).
