A fine and large patinated bronze figure of a classical figure breaking wood over his knee. It is entitled "Le Boucheron" on a bronze plaque to the front and is signed by Louis-Leopold Chambard 1811-1895. It stands 34.5 inches high and comes with a fine serpntine column with a revolving top approx. 36 inches high. Total height approx 70 inches 175cms. Circa 1880.
