A quite stunning quality English Edwardian desk barometer and thermometer in the finest mother-of-pearl with enamel and silver gilt by a very fine maker. Beautifully crafted dome top case with the arch beautifully made from individual pieces of mother of pearl. Edged with white enamel and the structure in silver gilt, hallmarked in full to the front and back for London 1913 and signed in script Callow Mount Street. The dial, in engraved silvered bronze with thermometer in lower sector giving fahrenheit and centigrade readings and a counter balanced blued steel barometer pointer, is signed Callow of Mount Street Park Lane.
