French antique Napoleon III ormolu and blue jewelled Sevres style porcelain mantel clock.
The ormolu is original and in mint condition.
Set on ormolu feet the clock has a good "sevres" plaque under the dial of a woman and her child who is flying a kite.
To the top of the clock is a finely painted and gilded porcelain urn. To each side of the case is a fine female mask.
The dial is jewelled blue porcelain with white numneral cartouches.
The hands are gilt. The movement is an 8 day steel suspended pendulum movement striking the hours and halves on a bell.
French circa 1880.
14 inches high by 8.25 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep ( 35 cms by 21 cm by 11 cm).
