A fantastic bronze on copper sculpture of a black boy in feathered hat, striped shirt and trousers smoking a pipe and carrying a basket on his hips. A really fine piece in excellent condition. Set on a circular marble base. No re-painting or repatination, excellent condition and a great size. Circa 1890. 26 inches high by 11.5 inches wide and base of 8 inches diameter ( 65 cm by 28.75 cm by 20 cm)
