The central column mounted with a mercury thermometer with aneroid barometer and small magnetic compass above, flanked by terrestrial and celestial globes, the white onyx base with timepiece in shaped bronze case and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals. 8 day movement with original cylinder escapement.
