A very pretty oval cut and polished agate patch, pill or snuff box. The agate a beautiful rich brown colour with smoke running through it. The metal mounts beautifully made and with a fine hinge. While selling the box as 19th century and gilt bronze, the colour of the metal is rose gold and the box itself probably 18th century.
