A very attractive pair of candlesticks in the French Empire style with good proportions and fine design. The candlesticks standing upon a circular base with three pairs of feet standing upon the base. Decorated and reeded stem rises to three good female masks and then to the candle holder and drip pan. Very much of the gout d'Egypte or retour d'Egtypte. French circa 1880. 12 inches high by 4.75 inch diameter base ( 30 cms by 11.875 cms).
