The tortoiseshell covers all four elevations while dome topped carriage clocks ten years earlier would have had a silver back door, the feet are plainer and the elegant silver handle would never have been seen on an Edwardian tortoiseshell carriage clock. Simple circular dial of white enamel on copper with blued steel hands. Good quality 8 day timepiece movement with lever escapement.
