Puddingstone oval gilt metal mounted hinged box. Superb example of finely worked agate aggregate stone box. German circa 1775-1780. Very fine condition. 3.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep by .9 inches high ( 8.75 cms by 6.25 cms by 2.25 cms).
