A good pair of English porcelain plaques ( probably Derby) of pictorial scenes of country houses in a landscape. One signed in the glaze "Wood Mill near Cockermouth" painted by Wm Hancock. The other giving no indication of the subject but also marked as painted by Wm Hancock. Both in identical fine, shaped giltwood frames with original water gilding.
