English late Regency workbox of most umusual and attractive shape. The lid with diamond shaped top with four facets painted to imitate a burr wood. The lid with a bronze handle and mother of pearl plate. Inside the box is velvet lined and has a number of sewing accessories. English circa 1820. 7.25 inches wide by 5.25 inches deep by 5.25 inches high ( with handle up), ( 18 cms by 13 cms by 13 cms).
