Monumental ormolu clock from the French Napoleon III period entirely constructed in ormolu. Superb casting of two children playing amongst flowers. Rococco decoration of sweeping and swirling C shaped floral decoration. Original fine ormolu gilding. 8 day bell striking movement with steel suspended pendulum, striking the hours and halves on a bell. French circa 1860. 24 inches high by 20 inches wide and 10 inches deep ( 60 cms by 50 cms by 25 cms).
