An enamel hand painted hinged box, probably Limoges enamel with bronze banding. Very high quality paintings of flowers in vivid colours on a rich red ground. All five sides have these beautiful panels. The inside of the box is lined with the original satin. France circa 1900. 7.5 inches wide by5 inches wide and 4.5 inches high ( 18.75 cms by 12.5 cms by 11.25 cms).
