An antique lozenge shaped ( six sided) tortoiseshell tea caddie with cut brass inlay to the front and to the top. The caddie in excellent order with no damage or repair to the tortoiseshell or to the brass. It has the original top to the tea compartment and the meeting edges of the lid and the base are lined with ivory. Probably English circa 1840. 7 inches wide by 5 inches high by 4 inches deep
