A fine silver and lilac guilloche enamel miniature carriage clock. The guilloche enamel on four sides of the clock with a very attractive engine turned pattern with both concentric and sunburst patterns forming a scallop shell finish. The lilac guilloche enamel is a beautiful colour but very rare and almost never seen.
The clock sits upon four silver bun feet.
The dial is of white enamel on copper with Roman hour numerals marked Swiss below 6 o'clock and has blued steel hands.
The hinged silver back door opens to reveal the fine movement and the inside of the case retaining the original gilding to the silver.
The 8 day movement with sloped shoulders and integral key has a fine and original lever escapement stamped S and F indicating that although this is an Swiss clock it was made specifically for the English market.
The movement is stamped JTC and numbered 57165.
The case is silver import hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1910.
