An Art Deco patinated bronze sculptural group on a fine shaped rouge marble base. The bronze of a young naked woman kneeling on the ground, one hand to her breast, the other allowing a stag to lick or drink from her hand. Beautifully and delicately posed, a quite superb piece. Signed Schmidt-Kestner Fec. (1877-1941). Probably German circa 1925-30. 10.5 inches high by 10.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep ( 21.25 cms by 21.25 cms by 15 cms).
