Antique ivory and tortoiseshell English George III 18th century ten sided tea caddy. In fine original condition this flat topped ivory caddy has a silver handle to the lid. All the segments of ivory in the base and lid are seperated by tortoiseshell stringing. There is a tortoiseshell band to the base and the lid and base are seperated by tortoiseshell. The caddy has a silver escutcheon with key and working lock. And a silver incription plate. English circa 1790. 4 inches high by 4 inches wide by 3 inches deep ( 10 cms by 10 cms by 7.5 cms).
