An antique French patinated bronze group of a classical woman seated on a chair and spinning thread. She has a basket of spun thread to her side. Holding a thread at her feet is the kneeling figure of a winged Cupid. The bronze is very well modelled and cast and the patination is original and in excellent condition. French circa 1850. 11.5 inches high by 9.5 inches wide by 5.5 inches deep ( 28.75 cms by 23.75 cms by 13.75 cms).
