An attractive French antique bronze of a girl and boy set upon a cushion shaped white marble base. The young girl leaning down against the boy has her hair up and a head dress of vines and grapes and holds a posy of flowers. The boy who is sitting down has on the robes of a monk and has the hood up and a monks cord around his waist and has his hands clasped together in prayer. This is no doubt an allegory of temptation.
