French antique Grand Tour bronze of a female athlete, after the antique, signed in the bronze F. BARBEDIENNE. Very well cast model of this iconic figure. She in a short shift dress with sandals on her feet. Good hands feet and face. Set upon a marble base of rouge and black marble. French circa 1880. 8.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide and 3 inch diameter at the base (21.25 cms by 11.25 cms by 7.5 cms).
