Good oil painting on canvas in what appears to be its original frame. Well painted but would greatly improve with a light clean. Old typewritten label on reverse giving the dates of the artist Stefano Vertunni 1827-1879. Although born in Milan he worked largely in Venice and this is a scene of the Rialto Bridge. 1850-60. Italian. 22 inches wide by 13 inches high ( 55 cms by 32.5 cms).
