A 19th century French ormolu and porcelain clock garniture, by Japy Freres the 4.25 inch dial with Roman numerals, twin winding holes, eight day movement striking on a bell, the breakfront rounded rectangular case with two handled urn finial, spreading shaped rectangular acanthus cast bases, applied with tied ribbons and S scroll brackets, set with shaped panels of courting couples within a jewelled borders, on a gilt scroll and rose pompadour ground.

Clock 16.25 inches high by 10.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep ( 41.5 cms by 26.25 cms by 11.25 cms), the sidepieces 13 inches high by 5 inches wide by 3.75 cms deep ( 32.5 cms by 12.5 cms by 9.375 cms).
