A fine Austrian ivory and gold mounted boudoir or carriage clock. The case entirely of well figured ivory with rectangular base and a domed top. The back door is inset and slides upwards. The dial is dome topped and is of ivory with handpainted watercolour scene of cupids in a pastoral river scene and has gold hands. The dial is surrounded by a gold bezel. The movement is of 8 day duration and is a fine Swiss three quarter plate key wound movement with platform lever escapement.
