Antique Grand Tour bust of Emperor Lucius Verus probably French, possibly Italian and dating from the end of the 19th century. Very well modelled and an excellent cast in a fine deep patinated bronze. Set upon a circular based socle. Circa 1890 10 inches high by 4.25 inches wide and 4 inches deep on a 3 inch diameter socle ( 25 cm by 10.75 cm by 10 cm by 7.5 cm). Lucius Verus (Latin: Lucius Aurelius Verus Augustus;[1] 15 December 130 – 169), was Roman co-emperor with Marcus Aurelius, from 161 until his death.
