The movement is a fine early large size circular plate movement regulated by a silk suspension and striking the hours and halves on a fine cast bell by means of a countwheel. France Circa 1815. Subsequent to sale found to be actually dated in movement 1811. 23 inches high by 20 inches wide by 6 inches deep ( 57.5 cms by 50 cms by 15 cm).
