Fine pair of french Charles X period three branch , four candle sconce ormolu candelabra. The ormolu in original and fine condition. The candelabra rest on a triform base with a stiff leaf moulding. On the base are three paw feet with Acanthus leaf above the knee and a flower on the knee. Above this a very fine Acanthus and Amthemion cup holds the reeded stem to an Acanthus capital and platform that in turn holds the candelabra arms which are in the form of scrolling flower stems. Each candle sconce is reeded and have their original drip pans decorated with a stiff leaf edging. The centre candle sconce also has a lovely flame finial.
