Fine and tiny antique English sub miniature carriage clock hallmarked for London 1910. Decorative silver gilt case with engine turned patterns on every surface including the handle.. Bun feet. White convex enamel dial with black Roman hour numeral;s and blued steel spade hands. 3/4 plate 8 day movement with lever escapement, key wound and adjusted from the back. Backplate stamped under a crown within a cartouche S & Co, then stamped Swiss and with the number 1415. London hallmark for 1910. The case is hallmarked with the makers mark NM , the leapards head, the lion and the date mark for 1910. There is no import mark so I would judge that the case is entirely English but with a bought in Swiss movement. 2 inches handle up, 1.75 inches handle down, width 1 inch and depth .75 inches ( 5 or 4.375 cm by 2.5 cm by 1.875 cm).
